Be the Game Master Your Group Needs
A great game of Spyfall needs a great host. Even if you're playing, someone needs to manage the flow, settle disputes, and keep the energy high. Here is how to take your group's experience to the next level.
📈 Hosting Toolkit:
Spyfall lives and dies by the clock. 8 minutes is standard. Be strict! When the timer hits zero, voting starts immediately. No "one last question."
Sometimes a player gives an answer that is technically true but misleading, or just wrong.
Bored of the standard rules? Try these:
The Spy card looks exactly like a Civilian card but with a fake location. The Spy doesn't know they are the Spy until they realize their location doesn't match anyone else's answers.
For groups of 8+, add a second Spy. They don't know who each other are. If one wins, they both win.
Ignore the specific roles (e.g., "Waitress," "Passenger") on the cards. Everyone is just "at the location." This simplifies the game for beginners.
Spyfall works great on Zoom or Discord.
You have the guides, the strategies, and the variations. Gather your friends and start the game!
