Spyfall Beginner Guide: Learn to Play in 5 Minutes

Master the Art of Deception and Deduction

Spyfall Beginner Guide Illustration

Spyfall is a game of questions, answers, and intense suspicion. Unlike other social deduction games, it's not just about who you are, but where you are. One player is the Spy, and everyone else is at a specific location (like a Casino, a Space Station, or a Pirate Ship). The Spy doesn't know the location. Their goal? Figure it out without getting caught.

📈 Your Learning Path:

Core Game Flow

  1. Role Assignment: Players check their secret role. One is the Spy; others see the Location.
  2. Question Rounds: The timer starts (usually 8 minutes). A starting player asks someone a question.
  3. Answering: The asked player answers, then asks a new person a question.
  4. Accusation: At any time, a player can stop the clock to accuse someone. A unanimous vote eliminates the suspect.
  5. Spy Guess: The Spy can reveal themselves at any time to guess the location. If correct, they win immediately!

Chapter 2: First-Time Player Preparation

The Golden Rule of Spyfall

Balance is Key: If your questions/answers are too specific, the Spy will guess the location. If they are too vague, you'll look like the Spy!
